About Me

JULIA EPSTEIN, PMHNP, FNP

She/her

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with a focus on adolescent and adult care. I earned my BSN and MSN from Columbia University, completed a PMHNP Post-Masters at George Washington University, and earned a BA in History from the University of Michigan. Prior to training as a PMHNP, I worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in community health centers and mobile medical units treating families with complex medical and mental health issues. My research includes studies in women’s health and infectious diseases.

I have experience in out-patient, partial care (IOP) and community mental health settings. My treatment is collaborative and research-driven and my approach is empathetic, holistic and patient-centric. I work closely with my clients to set realistic goals and create individualized treatment plans. I am available for talk therapy, medication evaluation and management, or a combination of both medication and talk therapy.

I strive to create a climate of safety, trust and inclusion that encourages meaningful exploration of all values, identities and behaviors. Welcome!
